About This Project

The Kisoro community builds brick walls for their schools using their own resources.  However, since the brittle brick and mortar are exposed to the elements, they are susceptible to fast decay.  Also, teachers are unable to use the walls to display posters and charts. This project provides the cement to plaster the inside walls of two elementary school classrooms.

Through generous donations, Kisoro Kids has supplied cement to plaster the walls of 11 classrooms at five elementary schools.  This has afforded a better learning environment and improves the longevity of the walls.

Plastered walls allow teachers to display educational materials in their classrooms
